Afrilogement operates a real estate intermediation platform, accessible through the website www.afrilogement.com and its mobile applications. It allows listings for the sale and rental of properties to be published, puts users in contact with listed agencies, brokers and service providers, and gives access to related services.

All elements making up the Afrilogement platform — texts, illustrations, photographs, logos, icons, visual identity, site structure, databases and source code — are protected by copyright and by the intellectual property rules in force in the Republic of Benin and across the OHADA area.

Any reproduction, representation, modification, adaptation or exploitation, in whole or in part, of these elements, by any means whatsoever, is prohibited without the prior written authorisation of Afrilogement. The name "Afrilogement" and the associated logos are distinctive signs whose unauthorised use engages the liability of the user.

Listings, photographs and descriptions published by users remain the property of their authors. By publishing them, users grant Afrilogement a free, non-exclusive licence to display, reproduce and distribute them, limited to the operation and promotion of the platform.

Afrilogement processes its users' personal data in accordance with law no. 2009-09 on the protection of personal data in the Republic of Benin, with the Beninese Digital Code and — for the users concerned — with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

• Data collected: surname, given names, email address, telephone number, supporting documents for professional users.
• Purposes: account creation and management, verification of professional users, introductions between parties, service notifications.
• Retention: limited to the period strictly necessary for the stated purposes.
• Rights: access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability and restriction of processing.

Afrilogement makes every effort to ensure the accuracy and availability of the information published on the platform. The company cannot, however, be held liable for omissions, inaccuracies or temporary unavailability, nor for direct or indirect damage resulting from access to the platform or from any inability to access it.

The company therefore cannot be held liable for the conclusion, performance or termination of contractual relationships entered into between users — tenants, owners, brokers, agencies or service providers — nor for any disputes that may arise from them.

This legal notice is governed by the law of the Republic of Benin. In the event of a dispute, the parties shall first seek an amicable settlement; failing agreement, the competent Beninese courts shall have sole jurisdiction.

Afrilogement does not carry out general monitoring of the listings it hosts. Any manifestly unlawful content may be reported to the email address given above: it will be reviewed and, where appropriate, removed as soon as possible.
